Each year, Carleton University, La Cité Collégiale, Saint Paul University and the University of Ottawa offer a week-long enriched learning experience to bright and highly motivated high school students in grades 8-11 (Ontario) and Sec. 2-5 (Québec). Over 1,000 high school students from across eastern Ontario and western Quebec are enrolled in the 57 mini-courses offered at Carleton University, which aims at giving talented young students the opportunity to explore their fields of interest in a higher educational setting.

This year Computer Science will be offering 6 mini-courses with varying interests and topics such as- Teach your Computer to Paint, Animation with Processing, Computer Science and Games: Just for GIRLS!, Can you imagine? 12 + 21 = 00001100 + 00010101, The Recipe for Entertainment: Computer Science and Video Games, Short Circuit; all abstract are available here. Thank you to all the instructors for participating in the mini-course and making it a huge success. It is wonderful to see people young and old sharing their knowledge and passion for science.
