Would you like to know what a strong research grant proposal or scholarship application looks like? Graduate students who rely on external funding know that project success may rise or fall depending on their ability to secure grants or scholarships. Knowing the process and best practices for how to submit a grant proposal or scholarship application is essential!

Associate Dean Prosenjit Bose is presenting a one-hour workshop to help participants design an approach for an effective research proposal or scholarship application. Intended specifically for those in science graduate programs, the workshop will cover the following items:

  • How to submit a good research proposal
  • Effectively selecting referees
  • Learning how committees review research applications

The workshop is open to graduate and 4th-year science students. It may be of special interest to those applying for the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) or the NSERC Master’s Scholarship.
